Edit profile metadata

Defolio allows you to customize your profile by editing various metadata elements. This feature helps you personalize your presence on the platform and provide relevant information to other users.

Profile Image and Background

At the top of the page, you'll see your current profile setup, which includes both your profile picture and a background image. To update either of these elements, click the "Upload avatar"/arrow button. This action allows you to refresh both your profile picture and background image simultaneously, giving your profile a new look.

General Information

In the General Information section, you can edit your display name and write a brief bio about yourself. Use this space to share your interests or role in the crypto space.

Links

You can manage external links on your profile. Existing links are displayed with their title and URL, which you can remove by clicking the "x" button next to them. To add a new link, enter the title and URL in the provided fields and click the "+" button.

Tags

Tags help categorize your profile and improve discoverability. You can add new tags by typing them in the "Add a tag..." field and pressing Enter. To remove a tag, click the "x" on the tag bubble.

Saving Changes

After making your desired edits, review your changes and click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom right of the page. If you wish to discard your changes, click "Cancel".

By keeping your profile up-to-date with relevant information, links, and tags, you enhance your on-chain presence and make it easier for others to connect with you in the crypto community.
